(An) Idea of Sharing
For more than twenty years, I had a stage name.
It belonged to a part of my life that lasted through enthusiasm, habit, escape, and eventually something much simpler: a genuine love of music. By the time DJing had become inseparable from being visible, connected and permanently social, I had become much better at listening than at belonging. The circles separated, and I fell through.
The recordings stayed.
(An) Idea of Sharing is where I keep them now. Not as a résumé, a comeback, or an attempt to preserve a former identity, but as an archive of sets that still seem worth hearing.
There are two ways to listen: Radio, if choosing sounds like work, and On-Demand, if it doesn't.
The archive sits behind an account because the music in those recordings belongs to the people who made it.
